Position : Milling Machinist
Report To : General Manager FLSA : Non-exempt
Job Summary : Build parts to print specs on a Haas VF6 vertical machining center
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Setup and program machine
- Build parts within allotted time that will pass 100% QC inspection
- Inspect parts at machine with occasional documentation
- Keep accurate time on jobs using KPI’s ERP software
- Documentation of setup procedures
- Light maintenance to the Haas VF6 machining center
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Keeping a neat and organized work area
Minimum Experience and Education:
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of experience working in manufacturing, fabrication, or machine shop environment
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Must make a passing grade on the Mill Machinist Placement Exam
- Must possess a good working knowledge of the Haas VF6 machining center or similar equipment.
- Must be able to perform 100% QC inspection on parts manufactured on the Haas VF6 machining center
- Must be able to use standard machine shop measuring tools
- Must be able to read and understand engineering prints
Physical Demands:
- Standing a minimum of ten hours a day
- Must be able to lift fifty pounds unassisted
- Must be able to operate an overhead crane
Work Environment:
- Houma shop

Position: Materials Processing
Report To: General Manager FLSA : Non-exempt
Job Summary : Handling materials when cutting, shipping, and coating.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Forklift operation
- Coating and finishing
- Saw operation
- Materials identification
- Bead blasting
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in shipping and receiving
- Keeping a neat and organized work area
- Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor
Minimum Experience and Education:
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of experience working in manufacturing, fabrication, or machine shop environment
- Forklift certification is preferred
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Good communication skills
- Must possess ability to read a tape measure
- Must be comfortable using hand tools
Physical Demands:
- Standing and or walking a minimum of ten hours a day
- Must be able to lift fifty pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to operate an overhead crane with or without accommodation
Work Environment:
- Houma shop
- Extreme hot and cold temperatures – warehouse
