Kent Boquet
Cofounder, Majority Owner, President
Cofounder, majority owner, and president of KPI, Kent is a second generation machinist with over 35 years of experience. He is widely respected for his knowledge of machine work and ability to work with engineers on R and D and Prototype projects.
Kurt Boquet
Second Generation Machinist
A second generation machinist, Kurt has been doing machine work for over 25 years and is General Manager in charge of production. He is largely responsible for introducing CNC technology to the company. His interest in cutting edge machining technology and thirst for knowledge of a wide variety of like subjects has helped propel KPI to a respectable position among machine shops in the oil and gas industry.
Matt Boquet
Cofounder, Part Owner
Cofounder and part owner of KPI, Matt is a graduate of Nicholls Sate University with a B.S. in Business Administration who’s mainly involved in sales and customer service at KPI. He is also very involved in purchasing raw materials and some administrative functions of the company.
Melanie Bonvillian
Bookkeeper, Office Manager
Melanie is very knowledgeable of the tracking software that KPI uses to run its jobs. Melanie keeps track of accounts, handle billing, and overs the day-to-day office operations of the business.
Philip Boquet
Operations Expert, Maintenance
Philip is not only Kurt’s protégé, but he is Kent’s son. Philip is also our CNC genius as well. Philip is Kurt’s right hand man on the shop floor. He maintains and operates all machines. He makes sure all machine are running to their optimum efficiency.
Randy Naquin
Machinist, Estimator
A talented machinist with 30 years of experience, Randy is responsible for estimating most of the jobs that are sent in to KPI. His background in manual machine work and knowledge of CNC machining are an invaluable asset to the company and serves him well as KPI’s primary Estimator.
Elson Matherne
Machinist, First Class
Elson Matherne is a first class manual machinist. He also assists with managing production and teaches younger apprentices who are interested in becoming manual machinist. Elson’s talents are utilized in quick turn-around, highly technical parts, which in turn become production runs. Elson has been with Kajan Perfection, Inc. for close to 30 years
